Summary:

ASMPT AEi, Inc. is the market leader of automated sensor assembly and test equipment for the automotive market. Our equipment has produced active aligned cameras and sensors, supporting the largest automotive companies in the world, and has enabled major automotive groups to bring Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to their global markets.

Key Responsibilities and Duties/Essential Functions:

  • Manages daily shipping and distribution operations
  • Responsible for the oversight of inventory
  • Ensures orders are shipped and delivered in a timely manner
  • Handle International (Mexico, Europe and Asia) and Domestic Shipping procedures
  • Direct the flow of packages from preparation to shipment
  • Collaborate with Master Planner for OTD targets
  • Manage documents including advance shipping notice, pick slips, bills of lading etc.
  • Supervise and lead subordinates (Receiving Clerk & Material Handler)
  • Collaborate with leadership to optimize processes
  • Resolve issues regarding orders, inventory, freight forwarders and customs
  • Ensure compliance to legal regulations (export/import) and company policies
  • Responsible for scheduling waste management for the shipping area

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience operating a forklift
  • Familiar with Logistics documentation (Commercial Invoices, SLI, Carnet, etc.)
  • Proficient with ERP software to track, check, prioritize and route orders (Visual)
  • Worked with freight forwarders
  • Must be well-organized
  • Process excellent verbal communication skills
  • Proven leadership skills to inspire and lead team
  • Solid knowledge of logistics procedures
  • International Shipping experience
